Mechanic helper

Osgoode Sand & Gravel is a family owned business that has provided construction services in the Ottawa region for almost 50 years. Our most common services are the sale and delivery of sand, stone, topsoil, limestone and gravel. However we also perform site work, custom harvesting and snow removal. We also rent equipment, including: construction equipment, farm equipment and trucks. We are looking for a mechanical helper to join our big family.

 Title: Mechanic helper

 Main duties:

• Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
• Assist in repairing, maintaining and installing industrial machinery and equipment
• Assist in mechanical, electrical and body repairs of heavy equipment
• Assist in land surveying activities, such as holding or moving stakes and rods, clearing brush and debris from line of survey and transporting surveying tools to work area
• Perform other labouring and elemental tasks as required.

Salary: $25/hour-29/hour

Working hour: 30-40 hours per week

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Will train
