Experience working on Komatsu, Cat, Deere, Volvo, or similar types of heavy and light equipment is a must.

Job Objective: The Technician diagnoses and performs standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, engines, drivetrains, and pneumatic repairs and assembles equipment for the company and its customers (Heavy and Light Equipment).

Duties Include:

  • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on Heavy Equipment as assigned by the Service Manager.
  • Proper use of diagnostic equipment.
  • Capable of finishing jobs in the allotted flat rate time.
  • Keep the Service Manager informed on special parts orders, shortages, and malfunctions.
  • Complete all work orders (including warranty information) / timesheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, technology, and models by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical and regulation publications.
  • Perform work-related functions as assigned by management.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and always adhere to the company safety program.
  • If assigned a company vehicle, you must keep it clean and serviced.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
  • While performing duties, the employee may be near moving mechanical parts and inside and outside weather conditions.
