Laundry Equipment Technician

This position is located at the JW Marriott Downtown Indianapolis!

Compensation starts at $22.00 - $29.00 an hour! 

Experience in pneumatics, PLCs, and hydraulics is required!

 What You’ll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironers, folding machines, and steam systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and hotel departments to ensure seamless laundry operations.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and servicing when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and hotel maintenance policies.

 What You’ll Bring

• 1+ years of experience in commercial laundry technician or a related technical field. Experience in pneumatics, PLCs, and hydraulics is required!
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Professional demeanor suited for a luxury hospitality environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school certification or apprenticeship preferred.
