Job Purpose

Herc Rentals is currently looking for a Small Tool Repair Person to come and join our team. You will work to keep small voltage electrical tools such as electric drills, grinders, explosion proof lights, etc. in top running condition through an effective preventative maintenance program.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and preparation of construction equipment
  • The deliver/pick-up of parts and equipment.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of rental items
  • Perform basic maintenance on some rental items
  • Keep work area and yard in order
  • Assist with service and maintenance record keeping
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

  • Ability to diagnose and repair all types of compaction (Diesel and gas plate tampers, walk behind rollers, drive on rollers, jumping jacks) would be an asset
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot: Fuel Systems, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 LBs
  • Able to perform complete repair and overhaul functions
  • Clean Driver's abstract and valid G class Driver's License
  • In depth knowledge of small combustible engines (Diesel and Gas)
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Willingness to work overtime when required

Pay Range: $25 - $30/hr
